This state park, with jungle like environment, was the filming location for several Tarzan movies with Johnny Weismuller.  River boat tours offer world class wildlife viewing.  Species often sighted include manatees, alligators, numerous wading birds, osprey and bald eagles.  Wildlife tolerate the river boats so close-up photography is possible without a long lens.
